I decided to send my 25-year old, construction worker friend (who lives in the bush near Muskoka, Ontario) to go down to Toronto to spend the evening with my grandmother.
The only instructions given to my grandmother were: "treat him like me at age 4" and "don't forget to tuck him in at night". The only instructions given to my friend were: "when you get there, you are me at age 4" and "don't forget to drink the jell-o before it sets."
The only information they released to me, besides these four pictures drawn by my friend that night, was that:
a) the bed was too small, and his limbs hung over the edges
b) my grandmother still falls asleep while watching the nightly news, and
c) she caught him drinking the jell-o before it set, and hit him with the wooden spoon
